Best Ever Guacamole

If you have ever done a Whole30, you know how important it is to get healthy fat on your plate. However, this can be hard and it is really easy to get bored of the same fats. Avocados are usually the go-to plated fat. One of the ways I like to mix up my avocado is with the guacamole. It goes with any protein and any vegetable. You can dip it, smear it, scoop it and eat it in so many different ways. It has many health benefits and has a mild flavor so it pairs well with so many mix ins.

My favorite way to eat this best ever guacamole (on the Whole30) is with fajita chicken and veggies over a bed of lettuce. However, I always use it for veggie dip, mix it with hard-boiled eggs for a spicy avocado egg salad and so many more ways. Off the Whole30 I love eating it the same way but also love dipping some Siete Chips in it too! Guacamole is always a crowd pleaser at any party, so don’t hesitate to share with your friends.

Why is fat so important during the Whole30? Well, it is what fuels you and keeps you full. Your body is running off healthy fats for its main source of energy. Avocados are full of fat-soluble vitamins (vitamins that need fat to be absorbed) such as Vitamin A, D, E, K. They are full of fiber, potassium, magnesium, poly and monounsaturated fats and so many more nutrients! It really is a super food, in my opinion. Making guacamole the best addition to your plate.

Tips for this recipe:

  1. If you like it spicier add more jalapeno or even use a serano pepper.
  2. I estimate about 1 avocado per person when I am making this.
  3. I have found this recipe doesn’t brown very quickly, which is great!
